hello fellow swiftie :) 

I have loved, lived and breathed all things Taylor Swift since I was ten and her first album came out 15 years ago. There were moments where I was convinced I was actually her, or at least her distant cousin. She did and still does, meant everything to me. Some of my favorite memories revolve around belting Taylor's songs in the car with my.mom, dancing to my fav songs any given day of the week and being totally transformed at each of her tours. She has inspired and impacted more parts of my life than I probably realize. Her love of writing and words are what drove me to find a creative career and have confidence in my own writing.

When she released the folklore and evermore albums, I was immediately drawn to the stories that are woven into the songs. I had the crazy idea to make the story an actual written, fictional peice. For what seems like years, I dreamt about what the stories would look like but was scared my writing abilities weren't up to par. On a whim one day, I decided to announce my plans in a meeting with most of my company. Essentially forcing myself to actually doing this with my announcement, I had to go for it. I sure am glad I did. Even in just these first few steps of starting, it has been such an amazing experience. While I didn't think it was possible, I have fallen even more with Taylor and her incredible lyrics. 

 

 So now I am only hoping that these short stories do some justice to the insane writing capabilities of Taylor or at least have some sort of impact on the people who read them. I hope these stories and interpretations give you just a few minutes to escape your day. While we are surrounding by videos and digital everything, words will always have the ability to transform and inspire us.
